State Library Victoria

After an extensive $88m refurbishment, the State Library opens its doors on 5th December showcasing a series of historic reading rooms, purpose-built event spaces and world-class galleries. All of which can be transformed into event spaces. Combine a series of spaces for up to 1,200 guests and explore Melbourne’s newest events hub with a Gatsby’s Mansion theme, Cluedo or Haunted House concept.

The Timber Yard

One of the newest event spaces in Melbourne, The Timberyard is fast becoming the go-to place for large format events, with an ability to transform the venue in so many different ways. With barely any restrictions, the space is an ideal canvas with seating for up to 1,000 guests in a converted warehouse and an extensive outdoor grassed area. Located in Port Melbourne, it’s just a $15 Uber from the CBD.

Create the perfect Corporate family day stretched out along the Williamstown Pier. This former maritime precinct has been restored and has an ability to host large carnival-style events, complete with kids rides, food trucks, market stalls and live entertainment. It is also one of the very best views of the city skyline looking back over the port. Guests can arrive by boat from Southbank, or by Train with the station located just 600m from the venue.
